Hancock Animal Hospital & Rehabilitation Center Laser Therapy
Hancock Animal Hospital & Rehabilitation Center offers mobile laser therapy care for cats and dogs to treat acute illnesses and/or chronic health conditions. Laser Therapy is a non-invasive, pain-free treatment that reduces pain and inflammation and stimulates natural healing. It is used to treat post-operative pain, arthritis, gum disease, and other pet health problems.
Hancock Animal Hospital & Rehabilitation Center provides quality, safe laser therapy treatment for your pets. Dr. Finley can expertly treat your pet with our non-invasive laser therapy services.
How Laser Therapy Works
Laser therapy uses deep-penetrating light energy to activate a positive cellular response that stimulates nerve cells and releases endorphins to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and improve blood circulation. The term laser stands for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. At Hancock Animal Hospital & Rehabilitation Center, we utilize Multi Radiance Medical® Laser Therapy, which provides targeted Super Pulsed Laser technology to deliver light energy to tissue.
The therapeutic laser technology is applied with a non-invasive, handheld applicator wand. The treatment is safe and pain-free, and most pets remain comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedure. The laser therapy session generally takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Positive results often appear after one or two treatments, although certain medical conditions may require a series of visits.
