Meghan Finley, DVM, cVMA
Dr. Meghan Finley grew up in Medinah, Illinois and relocated to Southwest Florida with her family in 2009. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Florida Gulf Coast University in chemistry with minors in biology, music, and interdisciplinary studies. While at FGCU, she was a cheerleader during the 2010-2013 seasons, including the year the men’s basketball team went to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA March Madness tournament.
Dr. Finley received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in St. Kitts, West Indies, in December of 2016 after finishing her clinical year at Texas A&M University. She is certified in medical veterinary acupuncture (CVMA) from Curacore in Fort Collins, Colorado and is currently pursuing her certification as a canine rehab veterinarian (CCRV) from Chi University in Reddick, Florida. She is also a Certified Veterinary Medical Manipulation Practitioner (CVMMP).
In 2019, Dr. Finley received a Soaring Eagle award from The Florida Gulf Coast University Alumni Association and the College of Arts and Sciences in recognition of professional success and service to the community. Dr. Finley is passionate about pain management, quality of life, and strengthening the bond between animals and their owners. Dr. Finley lives locally with her husband Garrett and their two children, Marlee and Scott. In their free time they can be found enjoying family time with their 4 dogs, or on the boat fishing.
